Speaking of: College Never Ending

I always envisioned the social dynamics of college being relatively insular during my four years. The drinking games. The need for small-talk party conversation starters. The backyard coolers full of seltzers. The feeling of auditioning for friend groups.

I envisioned that until I attended my first "adult party" where almost everything was the exact same. The drinking games. The need for small-talk party conversation starters. The backyard coolers full of seltzers. The feeling of auditioning for friend groups.

College never ends. Adulthood never starts. The things you liked and disliked about social gatherings don't change because you walk through some arbitrary door into adulthood. They just reappear next to more expensive alcohol.
