Speaking of: Observing My Own Life

I'm starting to realize I don't really think of myself as the main character in my life. I often see myself more as an audience member anxiously watching a 100-year-long film on myself.

As a result, I tend to not get too worked up when things go wrong in my life. Rather than bash on myself, I tend to applaud the script writers for thinking to add such a curveball into the narrative. In other words, my reaction when things go wrong isn't, "Oh, what sorrow...pity me!" It's more of a "Wow...what a plot twist! Bravo!"

I haven't decided yet whether this is healthy or not.
