I moved to a new apartment in San Francisco last weekend, and it was admittedly a pretty significant chore trying to find a new place to live. There are just so many factors to balance. Trying to be near all of my friends. Trying to be in one of the trendier neighborhoods. Trying to find a place that will ideally still fit my needs in one or two years' time. It's a lot to try and optimize for.
And then I realized.
Friends and trends will come and go, but beautiful places never age.
I moved to a one-bedroom apartment on a lake right off the coast.
