Speaking of: The Theology of Moldy Bread

Sometimes I like to think of religion as a mildly moldy loaf of bread.

The somewhat ignorant people see a few bad spots and throw out the whole loaf.

The really troubling people eat the entire loaf without asking any questions.

And the most well-fed people take out the pieces they want, get rid of the rest, and nourish themselves just on the good bits. It still makes for quite a meal.
